Mark Moses - Owner/ASE Certified Master Technician/ASE Certified Advanced Level

Mark has owned Moses Automotive since 1981, when he was 22 years old. He graduated from Toledo's Whitmer High School Vocational Automotive Program and then went on to graduate from Lincoln Technical Institute in Indianapolis with a Automotive Technology Certificate. Having worked at his Father's Sohio gas station since he was 13, he was a veteran in the industry when most kids were just leaving home.
Always a fanatic about cleanliness and order, Mark's goal was to build an Automotive Repair Business that would set the trend for other shops to follow. With great work ethics learned from his father and a great deal of vision for the future, Mark has built a nationally recognized facility that has been used as a model of what automotive repair shops can be. From the upbeat atmosphere of the customer waiting area to the surgical room cleanliness of the shop bays, the attention to details are obvious. Customer "retention" has been his motivation from the beginning.
Believe it or not, Mark is a real "car guy" with hobbies that include collecting Muscle Cars, Hot Rods, children's pedal cars and also gas station memorabilia. Mark's automobiles have been featured in over 25 national publications with even a few front cover features. Moses Automotive was picked by Car and Driver magazine as one of the 10 Best Garages in the USA for their January 1998 issue.
Beyond being a proud Father of his daughter Tara, Mark has truly enjoyed a twenty-five year marriage to his wife Kathy, Moses Automotive's office manager. Mark has also found great pride in working with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a Wish Grantor. Recognizing the importance of community service, Mark has served as a member of the Make-A-Wish Board of Directors and also the Board of Governors of the Northwest Ohio Better Business Bureau.
Mark is also very active in industry concerns, having served as the Director of Consumer Relations for the State of Ohio ASA (Automotive Service Association), he has served as a Board of Governors Member of STS (Service Technician Society), and has also served as a Member of the Facility Advisory Board for two Toledo High Schools, just to name a few things.
Mark is an ASE Certified Master Technician (continually since 1978), ASE L1 Certified, an STS Charter Member, Ford Motor Company EEC IV Certified and also Certified by General Motors in over 10 different areas. Mark also has a State of Ohio Teaching Certificate and was appointed by the Governor of the State of Ohio to a automotive repair shop regulatory board in February of 1998.
